Im getting things straight.

hey guys I'm sorry for the lack of posts. I've been really busy this month and i haven't checked on my blog, my facebook account.... ARGH! this UAN thing is freaaaaakin me out. WISH ME THE BEST OF LUCK!!!

anyway, you know that i went to dufan with my friends, doncha? i mean from the photos? anyway if you don't, well ima tell you some of the good times when i went there. Sasha, Ega, Jeje, and I, we like this Indonesian band called D'Masiv. i dunno, their songs are really cool. and by we mean cool, we meant cool cool. like, different from the other kacangan Indonesian band. AND when we went to Dufan, we ate dinner at Le Bridge, Ancol. There's a cafe near there. and.. D'Masiv were there!!! holyarsehole! we were superduperhysterical!!! we weren't allowed to go into the cafe, so we watched D'Masiv performed their songs from behind the fences. we sang along and we had a lot of fun and great experience. ...BUT!!!

One day gemi told me that she likes a song called Her Morning Elegance by Oren Lavie, an Israeli singer. She likes that song coz she has seen the video and it was awesome: click here. anyway, i watched that video on YouTube and it IS good. Then i remembered some video that i've seen but never opened it ever since, and i searched and watched it. I watched Mutemath's Typical video.

AND i was watching Switchfoot's Awakening video when i realized there were comments about this vid in bahasa. They say "drumnya d'masiv diam tanpa kata ngejiplak drumnya lagu ini" and i was "WHAT THE HECK?" i searched for d'masiv video right away. and gues what i found?

You see, i was shocked. real shocked. I liked D'masiv and you don't know how i love switchfoot. i was hurt. I found out that D'masiv steals songs. 2 songs by Switchfoot can you imagine that??? i mean, i dunno if you like switchfoot or not, but hell, what would you do when you found out your favorite band's songs were copied by a trashy-crappy unknown and underdog band??? I was so pissed, I wrote about this on Twitter.

I am so embarrassed, so regretful that I USED TO LIKE D'MASIV I EVEN SING ALONG WHEN I HEAR THEIR SONG ON TV!!! i read comments for that video. Most of them are cursing how trashy, crappy, idiot, and stupid D'masiv is. YES i love you guys who wrote those comments. I feel betrayed. EWH SIAPA SIH YANG SUKA SAMA PLAGIAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! And you know what?? not only Switchfoot's, they also copies other band's song such as MCR's, Lifehouse's, Muse's, and Incubus' song.

What really gets me on the nerve, is that they copies my favorite Switchfoot's song, which is Awakening. Maybe they thought Indonesian people know nothing about Switchfoot. They are wrong! Stupid horrendous cows! Now, I officially hate D'masiv.

Okay, so there you have it. It's no use anyway, talking about D'masiv. They don't even admit this. They said that they were influenced by them, not copying their songs. whatevs, it's no use for me anyway. go to hell, sucker.

As you know, I'm having big tests this week. Big big tests. yeah, UAN. wish me the best of luck! I'll wish you best of luck too :D anyway i have a new eye candy!!! his name is Hunter Parrish. I tell ya, he's a real heartthrob.

Well, as you can see, the title of this entry is Im getting things straight. Not actually tho. Im just trying straighten people's perspective of me. My sister once asked why do I post in english, not in Bahasa. well, by writing in English, Im obviously improving my english. i know I'm not fluent enuf. I make mistakes, but hey, failing is part of learning rite? :D

one more thing, I'm actually a very shy person. People think that Im cocky and stuff, well, i'm being indifferent because i am shy. I'm also a very sensitive person. I try to hide my feelings from others when I feel bad or sad, i don't wanna be other's burden to bear. I love to hear what people are thinking (curhat or stuff) but I don't really give them good advice. I try tho, I give them simple solution whether that helps or not. Im just trying to help my friend :) but sometimes my feelings are shown on my face. darn you face! i think that's why people call me cartoon-faced girl. Some friends say that I'm expressively showing my feelings.

Okay i think i have to end this. tell you folks more later! gotta study to get good scores. tomorrow's exam is math. I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST OF LUCK! We'll get 100 for math!!! AMIN YA ALLAH!

Heeeey I'm really really sorry I haven't posted for, like, a zillion years. haha lebay. I've been very busy with school lately. This year Im gonna do the National Tests dan ini menguras pikiran banget untuk belajar. Good grades are everything!!!

...and I really hate the thought that me and my friends are going to be separated :( it's reaaaally sad. I mean, we do everything together. kemana2 selalu bareng gitu. terus cerita2 juga bareng. kayaknya bakal ada yang kurang kalo some of them are not here anymore gitu. soalnya kalo jumlahnya berkurang.... yeah you know what I mean lah hehe. tapi enough selfishness, mereka kan ada yang udah diterima di their dream schools :D I'm happy for you guys!

Fortunately I have a very good chance to spend good times with them. We're going to go to Bali together! yay! sebelumnya aku ga boleh pergi. masalah ini itu deh. tapi alhamdulillah my dad says yes...........on the last minutes. sayang my beloved best friends ada yang ga boleh pergi, so maybe going to Bali is half-fun in the sun.

On the other hand... kalo aku ke Bali, aku bisa ketemuan sama my Scamp friends yang pada tinggal di Bali, kayak Aldo, Adam, Mike sama Ivan. Yeah, mini reunion. itu pun kalo ketemu sih. so I'm pretty excited. WAIT!! don't forget to study. kalo belajarnya malah kelupaan nilai2 bisa ambles nih. btw, congrats for my friend Indra, he got the 1st rank on Try Out Bahasa Indonesia with the score 98. cool.
