Audy, Clarissa, and I, along with my sister Dila and her friend kak Dani watched Phoenix at Beatfest 2009 last night (August 1st)! Woohoo. Beatfest 2009 was held in Bengkel Nightpark, Sudirman. Other band who performed were Naif (they went to Bengkel right after they performed in Sky Avenue), The S.I.G.I.T (which surprisingly sounds cool to me, yeah, their genre wasn't really my music), and Rock and Roll Mafia (their music was okay, tapi waktu dinyanyiin kayak kurang gairah gitu. kurang heboh, jadi kebanting deh musiknya). Unfortunately, seeing that the sponsor was a cigarette brand, everybody was smoking. I repeat, EVERYbody. The hall was full of smoke and there was no fresh air. Fortunately, right before Phoenix came on stage, Audy, Clarissa, and I moved to the front near the aircon. BUT!! Everyone in front of us was curiously tall and we could only see small part of the stage. That was alright, though. Coz we stood right next to the giant speaker. Sooo, I took out my phone, reached out and stretched my arm as high as I could and took 49 pictures, yeah, I know, I've counted. So here are the pictures!!!

And the lighting was perfect! Anyway, Im sorry that these pics are all in a blur, It was really crowded and as you can read, I was holding the phone as high as I could to get through the heads of the tall people in front of me.

Deck D'Arcy-left. Christian Mazzalai-right. Christian is the other guitarist, Branco's brother! Anyway, there was one moment that I thought Christian looked into my eyes! Ha ha. I don't if this is true, though. because I was amazed and my face was like "haaaa" (heaven's call) ha ha. Because!!! He was like looking at me (I thought) and he leaned forward towards the crowd where I was. Well, maybe he looked at the whole crowd, but what the hell!! Let's just consider he looked at me, teehee.
